Notice is hereby given that the Regular Board Meeting of the Board of Education of the School District of the City of Hamtramck, County of Wayne, Michigan, for the month of March will be held as follows:

HAPPY RAMADAN

In conjunction with the Michigan Department of Education’s waiver, Hamtramck Schools is able to provide meals to a student who has not participated in the breakfast or lunch program that day. Only one breakfast and one lunch per person per school day is permitted.
Hamtramck Schools Food Service Department is offering prepackaged meals (breakfast and lunch) for students observing Ramadan. Meals will be available for pickup at your student’s school at the end of each school day, beginning Monday, March 3 through Friday, March 21. Meals will not be available during the week of Spring Break, March 24-28.
